Technology Enabled Care services - Soft Market Testing
Published
Description
As part of Cheshire West and Chester ongoing soft market research in relation to Technology Enabled Care services, we are interested in understanding the current costs / committed contract value that providers need to make these services viable. We are keen to review estimated costs from two perspectives: 1) Provider costs for a whole contract provision as detailed below 2) Provider cost for those that deliver on some of the specifics, but not all of the contract ask We appreciate that you can provide rough costings only, however, we wondered if providers could give us an average price for the following service provision: Based on 2,000 clients to start with, increasing by at least 300 a year for three years: Technology is leased not brought. All technology is digital as we have completed our analogue to digital switchover. Provider would be completing their own assessments to recommend to the front line workers what technology is best to meet the needs and achieve positive outcomes for the individual. This is a needs led service and we don’t prescribe the technology to the provider. We expect to be led by the providers expertise. • Monitoring and response centre needed to be operational at all times. • Data to be gathered to support benefits realisation and to support front line workers to understand the needs of those in receipt of technology. • Mobile response centre for those triggering alarm. • Provider to install, maintain and collect the TEC. • Provider to have pathways in place for standard referrals and crisis referrals. • Provider to have referral systems in place for the frontline workforce to access. • Provider to complete their own reviews with the workforce to ascertain the best piece of technology to achieve outcomes at the time of the assessment. • We are also interested in what a mobile falls pick up service would cost. If this can be provided please add this as separate cost. Providers can either send estimated costs based on the whole service ask as detailed above or, a price for specific elements of the service ask such as the data gathering or the mobile response units. We are aware that smaller providers now operate in the market focusing on specific elements of technology services. We are interested in hearing from any provider who delivers a technology service. This is not an official procurement exercise, nor is it a commitment to future business. These prices are going to used to inform market research only. Can responses be sent to AgeingWellCommissioning@cheshirewest.gov.uk by the 4th September 2024. Keywords: social care
