Published

Value

75,000 GBP

Description

'The Triumph of Art' by artist Jeremy Deller is a nationwide performance that leads up to and finally rounds off the National Gallery's Bicentenary celebrations (NG200). The artwork will take the form of a celebratory, public procession of costumed performers, travelling with props and equipment for c. 900m onto Trafalgar Square, where they will engage the public in a diverse programme of performances, music and events. The event is expected to have a duration of c. 4 hours. It will take place at daytime only. We are looking for an event management company to deliver the artist's vision, collaborating with the Gallery to manage the overall production on Trafalgar Square, including a robust schedule for the event and the delivery of materials from across the four partners.
