Description

Summary of the work We are working on improving and updating our e-learning - The Trustee Toolkit. We require an experienced learning design partner to help us assess the scope of changes, review and advise on the content and learning design, alternative authoring software and help develop templates and possibly the migration of content Expected Contract Length 3-4 months Latest start date Thursday 15 December 2022 Why the Work is Being Done There are several risks associated with our education platforms that include the content needing to be updated to reflect a series of legislative and regulatory changes and the authoring software is out of date and no longer supported so we are exploring alternatives. We are seeking to address the risks and update the toolkits Work is being done with SMEs to review the updates needed and as part of this we would like to use the opportunity to review the learning design, authoring software and the design of our LMS to get it updated so that it meets current user needs and we can actively promote the toolkits with confidence and without reputational risk Problem to Be Solved Review of the learning objectives for each module to match content updates to validate that they still meet the learning content as it changes. Recommendations on how learning design needs to change to meet best practices, review of the case studies and scenarios to ensure they are inclusive. Need for expertise/experience to conduct analysis of opportunities/limitations of LMS and authoring software that then produces: a. Recommendations to improve how LMS can be reconfigured/designed to improve user experience b. A set of prototype template designs for learning modules for new authoring software, taking recommendations from user research/design analysis c. Produce actionable/implementable recommendations for updating the design to facilitate/accommodate content updates including an assessment of the consequences on learner’s progress Experience to develop a plan to migrate module content into new design templates, outlining the dependencies/risks Recommendations for metrics to collect to measure the effectiveness of learning content Design specification/proposal for new content on Dashboards and Climate change modules to include learning needs analysis and set of learning objectives Need for support/experience in scoping/storyboarding new content requirements Need for experience/expertise across a range of e-learning design and technology to advise on improving with existing framework and/or advising on potential best fit alternatives Who Are the Users Trustees and others involved in the management of pension schemes who are new to the role or to refresh knowledge on the minimum knowledge and understanding they are required to have to run a pension scheme.
