Description
The procurement is for a parallel framework agreement with up to 2 (two) tenderers to cover the requirements for children's housing and respite care services for users in Sandnes Municipality, with different degrees of disabilities. The objective of the contract is to ensure the contracting authority quality approved services when the contracting authority cannot cover these needs in-house. The users must have a good and facilitated service in a safe and skilled environment. The respite care service has a legal basis is the Health and Care Services Act §3-6 no.2, and children's housing has a legal basis in the Health and Care Services Act § 3.2 no.6 letter c. The right to the services is pursuant to the Patient and User Rights Act § 2-1a. The respite care offer can also include adults with functional disabilities who live at home with relatives. The respite care services are awarded to the relatives who have particularly heavy care work, and where respite care is necessary in order to be able to continue seeing to the daily care of the child. Children's housing are awarded to relatives who have particularly heavy care work, and where the child permanently lives in the children's flat where employees see to the daily care on behalf of the parents.
