Für das Forschungsprojekt „SpreeTec neXt – Neue Fertigungstechnologien für Komponenten und Systeme der dezentralen Energietechnik“ soll eine neue oder neuwertige Laserschmelzanlage für die additive Fertigung von metallischen Großbauteilen angeschafft werden. Als neuwertig gilt eine Anlage, die maximal zu Vorführungszwecken zum Beispiel als Ausstellungstück genutzt wurde, jedoch bisher nicht industriell verwendet wurde wie Leih- oder Mietgeräte.
