South West London Pathology, ‘SWLP’, a consortium made up of St Georges, Kingston and Croydon Hospitals and Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals ‘ESTH’ are in negotiation to incorporate ESTH into the pathology partnership. This partnership will be looking to procure a number of managed service contracts covering pathology. The procurement is to replace managed service contracts currently in place at SWLP and ESTH when they expire. In the pre-tender period we intend to undertake market engagement to assist in determining the scope and specification of the future contract(s). This notification invites potential suppliers who may wish to be involved in the market engagement we will be undertaking over the coming months. As a part of this we wish to explore, as way of example; optimum contract durations, in-scope services, future developments and technology, potential contract values and appropriate procurement procedures.
