Re-vegetate bare peat to promote recovery of blanket bog. Reprofile old eroding faces of peat banks, hags and gullies. Slow water runoff to prevent further erosion by building low vegetated peat bunds in reprofiled gullies and at the bases of reprofiled banks and hags. Stabilise bare peat to halt degradation and erosion using seed and geotextile. Translocate sphagnum moss into new small pools to promote recovery of blanket bog. In summary, following Peatland ACTION techniques, carry out; 27,713m mechanical reprofiling of eroding hags and gullies 15 bunds to stabilise flat bare peat 1680 vegetated peat dams/bunds 10 plastic piling dams 40 stone dams 3.5 ha reseed and geotextile 2 ha transplanting sphagnum moss
