3.1 Renfrewshire Council have a requirement for the Planned Maintenance and Service of Fire Extinguishers & Associated Kit. The planned and reactive maintenance to Portable Fire Fighting Equipment will be in accordance with BS 5306 3:2017 or most up to date edition, to achieve statutory compliance. There is currently a programme of routine servicing and testing for all Portable Fire Fighting Equipment in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines or at 12 monthly intervals. Lot 1: This contract was tendered as a mini competition under the Scotland Excel Framework Agreement for Supply, Delivery, Servicing and Maintenance of Fire Safety Products, Lot 2 – Service, Repair and Maintenance of Fire Safety Products. The tender documents were made available on 5th February 2025 to 5 suppliers awarded places on Lot 2 of the Framework through the Public Contracts Scotland – Tender portal.
