Buyer
Description
As part of the University’s vision for the 2030s, we are currently exploring Transnational Education opportunities, including scoping the potential in the Indian market following India’s University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations allowing foreign higher educational institutions (ranked in the top 500) to set up campuses in India. At this stage, the University seeks expressions of interest from Indian and/or foreign institutions/organisations or consortia interested in working with us. We are open to exploring all forms of TNE collaboration. We invite EOI responses by the above deadline containing the following: - Information on the experience you would bring in relation to delivery and or/support of quality international higher education in India. - Information on your experience of UK Higher Education and working in partnership. - Proposals detailing: o Location(s) of potential Newcastle University TNE activity, including physical infrastructure o Potential models of delivery and collaboration o Potential subject areas o Industry collaboration and careers and employability - Information on the proposed operating/commercial model Interested parties are encouraged to reflect and describe how they would facilitate the University’s research and industry engagement mission in India and the region and help nurture and secure strong employability outcomes for Newcastle University students in India. EOIs should be at most 10 pages long and submitted by the deadline for EOI responses via the above email address. All EOIs will be acknowledged within 3 working days. After the closing date, EOIs shall be reviewed and ranked by a sub-group of the University Executive. You may be contacted for any clarifications or further information. Subject to approval by the University’s Executive Board, a shortlist of the top-ranked EOIs will be contacted by the University’s Procurement team and invited to enter into discussions with the University and thereafter submit a detailed tender. Please note that Newcastle University is not a ‘contracting authority’ for the purposes of the UK Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016; this will not apply to this Expression of Interest or any subsequent tender activity as an outcome of this engagement.
