The contract will cover the requirements of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council. The supply, installation and successful commissioning of 3 no. new cremators with the option to install mercury abatement plant at a later date. The successful supplier is also be required to enter into a contract for the maintenance of the new cremators (with the option of adding the mercury abatement plant at a date to be specified in the future) for a period of 15 years. The supply and maintenance of new ash-processing equipment will also be included in the tender.
