Provision of emergency response and repair services including materials and equipment for the natural gas high-pressure onshore Ireland transmission network located in the Republic of Ireland (Refer to Appendix 3 of this PQQ for general network map). Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) requires a single supplier agreement to provide the services as outlined in the Scope of Work. Overview of the GNI network: GNI owns and operates the high-pressure gas transmission pipeline network and associated installations in the Republic of Ireland. The network is outlined below; • Approximately 1,650km of transmission pipeline ranging in diameter from 150mm (6”) to 900mm (36”) with operating pressure from 19bar to 85bar. • Approximately 180 Above Ground Installations (AGI’s) each typically consisting of a fenced compound containing an underground remotely operated valve with bypass valves etc., gas filtration, metering and pressure reduction. Scope of Work The scope of work will involve the provision of emergency response and repair services, including materials and equipment, for the above network up to an operating pressure of 85bar in accordance with all relevant gas industry/statutory regulations including, but not limited, to I.G.E.M. TD1/TD9/TD13 or equivalent. The capability to manage response to pipeline emergencies will be a critical element of the successful Applicant's responsibility.
