Description

The Marine Institute requires a high precision benchtop salinometer that can deliver salinity calculations in the laboratory and on-board ships with laboratory level accuracy. The salinometer must accurately measure conductivity in water samples (estuarine and seawater) and subsequently calculate salinity directly (salinity range 2–42 Equivalent Practical Salinity Units, PSU). A detailed technical description is available in the attached tender documents.
