In summary, the Services and Goods comprise of the provision of second level IT maintenance and support to the UCD IT department in respect of specific hardware & software, desktop devices, standard desktop software, printers, specified servers, server software and network, communications devices such as routers, firewalls as detailed at page 7 and 8 of this document. Purchasing, upgrading and replacement of equipment is an on-going process and the equipment to be covered will change over time, hence a degree of flexibility is required to cover new equipment and software.
