IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN) souhaite remplacer en 2024 son cluster de calcul actuel, installé en 2018 à Solaize en région Lyonnaise. Le supercalculateur dont IFPEN dispose actuellement est une machine ATOS/BULL de 240 nœuds scalaire (480 processeurs de calcul cadencés à 2.3GHz avec chacun 48 Go de mémoire), 10 nœuds accélérés, ainsi qu’une solution de visualisation et de stockage. La puissance soutenue de cette machine est de 445 Tflops. Lot 1: Voir Cahier des Charges
