The City of Edinburgh Council (the Council) sought to appoint a supplier to undertake an Economic Needs Study to support the preparation of the Evidence Report for the City Plan 2040. This study will provide a comprehensive assessment of the demand and supply for various types of floorspace within Edinburgh, including office, industrial, retail, leisure, and visitor accommodation. It will also review the land use and planning implications of this demand, analyse associated trends and issues, and project future requirements by geographical sub-areas.
