Social Business Growth Fund Final Evaluation

Quotations are invited for the provision of an evaluation of the Social Business Growth Fund and Community Asset Development Fund.The aim of this evaluation is to assess the impact of the Social Business Growth Fund (‘SBGF’) and Community Asset Development Fund (‘CADF’) projects, managed by WCVA since 2016. SBGF and CADF comprises of two funds operating in West Wales and the Valleys and East Wales.SBGF is an Operation funded by the European Structural Funds (European Regional Development Fund). SBGF is a suite of funds that Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) has designed as a response to the need to support the growth of social business in Wales. The focus is on creating jobs through targeted investment in social businesses. CADF has been designed as a pilot to meet demand for funding from social businesses to take on or develop community assets. They have been designed to build upon the successful track-record of similar activities during both the 2000 to 2006 and 2007 to 2013 programme periods through projects such as the Communities Investment Fund and Communities Investment Fund 2.
