Agder County ('the Contracting Authority') invites interested tenderers to submit tenders in a contest for the procurement of transport services by boat for two specific passenger groups in the route areas Tromøy and Hisøy in Agder County. The contracting authority would like to offer sixth form college students, who have had a transport application approved by AKT, boat transport between Tyholmen - Skilsø and Tyholmen - Kolbjørnsvik without any cost for the students. The contracting authority would like to offer children, youths and young adults (0-29 years), who have a valid period card for buses, boat transport between Tyholmen - Skilsø and Tyholmen - Kolbjørnsvik without extra cost for the person in question. Lot 1: Boat transport services for specific passenger groups - Route area 1 Tromøy The contract is based on sixth form colleges' students who have been granted school transport from Agder kollektivtrafikk, as well as all passengers within the groups children, youth, young adult (0-29 years) who have a valid period card for buses in the Arendal region, shall be able to use the ferry service at no extra cost for the passenger. The transport of these passenger groups will not generate any income for the Operator. The Operator receives a fixed annual remuneration for the performance of the Assignment 'Godtgjørelsen' (the 'Remuneration'). This agreement applies to the transport of these two passenger groups (students at sixth form colleges and the group of 0-29 years), for Route 1 Tromøy. See the attached details regarding routes and schedules The Operator that wins the tender contest for each route shall not have the exclusive right to operate the ferry routes. This means that it will be possible for other ferry companies to operate the same route and to collect ticket income from passengers.
