Alarm Signalling Software With Installation and Maintenance Services - University of Aberdeen

Published

Description

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to initiate market engagement aimed at gauging the market's interest and capacity to deliver alarm signalling software, as well as provide the installation and maintenance services for these units at the University of Aberdeen. The University of Aberdeen is embarking on a phase to replace its existing Alarm Signalling Cards. In this regard, the University seeks to engage a suitably qualified contractor who can supply, install, and maintain an effective dual-path alarm signalling solution. This solution is expected to offer dual-redundant LAN and SIM capabilities in line with (EN50136-1:2018/PD6669:2017/PD6662:2017) DP3 and/or DP4 standards. Additionally, the solution should be seamlessly integrable with the Gemini Bold Monitoring Software. The envisaged scope of work involves the replacement of approximately 95 cards over a gradual timeline. To participate, potential contractors are required to be registered with or be willing to register on the Reset Compliance System platform. More information can be found here: HSE & CDM compliance verification systems | Reset (rcscard.co.uk). The envisioned commencement date for the project is 01/11/2023, with an initial contract duration of 3 years. There will be an option to extend this contract for two additional periods of 12 months each. It is possible that the project could be split into 2 lots as below but we would particularly be interested in suppliers who can fulfil both parts. Lot 1: Supply of New Standardised Alarm Signalling Devices Lot 2: Installation and Maintenance of Alarm Signalling Devices Interested parties are invited to respond to this PIN by 7th September 2023. This market engagement initiative is an initial step towards establishing a comprehensive and efficient alarm signalling solution at the University of Aberdeen. We look forward to receiving insightful responses from the market to inform our subsequent steps in this procurement endeavour.
