Description
Following a further competition under the High Value Laboratory Equipment framework (LAB 3162 NW), the University of Bristol has awarded a contract for a X-Ray Diffractometer. The equipment required is a single X-ray diffractometer, complete with the necessary hardware and software for its operation, to facilitate computer-controlled, precise, and accurate measurements of material structural information. This machine will be utilized for assessing crystal quality, specifically performing 2D scans such as pole figure and reciprocal space mapping, to determine the symmetry and precise structural parameters necessary for evaluating strain in grown thin films.
