Das Projekt Schaltposten (Sp) Glauchau-Schönbörnchen, Erneuerung Sekundärtechnik beinhaltet den Tausch der sekundärtechnischen Ausrüstung der Bahnstrom-Schaltanlage einschließlich Steuer- und Wandlerkabel der Eigenbedarfs- und 15kV-Schaltanlage. Weiterhin sind die Prüfschienentrenner zu tauschen. Der Beginn der Realisierung der Maßnahme ist nach derzeitigen Planungen für das Jahr 2025 vorgesehen. Die 15 kV-Schaltanlage besteht als Normschaltanlage der 2. Generation und ist gemäß Übersichtsschaltplan mit acht Abzweigen aufgebaut.
