Student Placement Management System

Published

Description

Preliminary Market Consultation In addition to our Preliminary Market Consultation of October 2022 (attached) regarding placement management systems for students of Nursing and Allied Health Care degrees, there is now additional requirement for Leeds Trinity University to implement a more holistic placement management solution that provides capability to allocate professional placements alongside, or separate to placements for Nursing. Our high level requirements for the professional placements are: • Advertisement of placement roles • Possible application portal for students and employers • Pathways - such as Health and Safety • Tripartite access - employer, student and institution. This could be for compliance documents, absence reporting etc. • Reporting mechanisms We would like to provide the opportunity for potential suppliers to speak to us regarding their professional placements management systems, in particular the capability to check placement capacity, the communication provided to both the student and institution, tracking of placements and the retention of data for quality audits. In respect of the above, Leeds Trinity University seeks advice from independent experts/authorities/market participants with a view to developing the scope and specifications needed to plan and conduct its procurement procedures. We would like to hear from organisations who can share their experience of having provided similar services demonstrating a knowledge of professional and healthcare placements for the higher education sector, and who would be willing to provide us with a summary of functionality that supports these aims. The university wishes market operators to consider this an opportunity to make the university aware of optimal, variant, and optional solutions, in order that any investment represents the very best demonstrable value for money. For the avoidance of doubt, no call for competition has been made, and no contract award opportunity identified. All relevant information exchanged or resulting from this PMC will be documented and where not considered commercially confidential, may be communicated to other candidates and tenderers participating in any resultant procurement procedure. Please may we ask for your comments and correspondences as soon as possible, and no later than 1700h 7th June 2023. All correspondences to Mark Hayter by e-mail: m.hayter@leedstrinity.ac.uk Additional information: This preliminary Market consultation closes at 1700h on 7th June 2023
