Renfrewshire Council (the Council) is looking for a single Service Provider to deliver a programme of Christmas activities in Paisley town centre. Lot 1: As a key component of Paisley’s Christmas, the Council is looking to appoint a single Service Provider to deliver, manage and provide the following facilities including an outdoor ice rink, a big wheel, carousel or other showpiece ride, a mix of fairground rides and a selection of food and beverage units, this will be called Paisley’s Christmas. As part of this Contract for Paisley’s Christmas, the Service Provider would be expected to fully project manage this element of Paisley’s Christmas. The Service Provider will be expected to open for the public at 12 noon on Thursday 28 November 2024 and the event (under this Contract) will thereafter operate daily excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day up to and including Saturday 28th December 2024. A detailed timeline for delivery of Paisley’s Christmas including the build and de-rig period must be included in the Service Provider’s Proposal. The Council’s Events Team has drafted a comprehensive list of requirements which detail the Council needs for Paisley's Christmas which will be included in the tender documentation. The Council seeks to conduct a below GPA threshold open tender to award this Contract. It is anticipated that the contract will commence on the 29th July 2024 and will expire on the 28th January 2025.
