The minimum works are to include: — Removal and replacement of the existing fabric to further examine the condition of the base boards, springs and foam etc. replacing same where necessary. — Re-upholstery of all numbered arm rests. — Reconfiguration of camera and sound mixing seating to provide more efficient ways of working. — New aisle isle lighting which is incorporated into the end of row arm rests. — Full repairs to ventilation duct work running below the seats. The Concert Hall has a ‘dark period ’ programmed for August 2017 which will be utilised to progress the seating repair/ replacement as much as possible with the remaining works being programmed overnight so as not to disrupt the planned events in the Hall. Works are expected to commence August 2017 continuing until December 2017.
