Marketing Services Framework for Enterprising Barnsley & DMC

Description: The Council is intending to undertake a procurement exercise to establish a framework to deliver marketing services for Enterprising Barnsley and DMC. The framework will consist of 7 lots consisting of: Lots: 1. Video, Photography, and Animation 2. General PR 3. Digital and Tech PR 4. Podcast Production 5. Social Media Marketing 6. Graphic Design 7. Content Creation A market briefing will take place on Wednesday 12th February at 9am – please register interest in this opportunity to receive and invitation to this event. Lot 103820: Lot 1 - Video, Photography, and Animation (1) Video, Photography, and Animation This lot covers all aspects of producing videos and photography promoting the work of Enterprising Barnsley and the DMCs. Examples would include: case study videos, events coverage, DMC promotion, and promoting/explaining specific projects. The work involved would include on-site filming with Enterprising Barnsley’s clients, scripting and recording interviews, ‘talking head’ testimonials, capturing B-roll footage of the business at work, and animated graphics. Lot 103822: Lot 2 - General PR This lot covers the production and circulation of written press releases promoting the general activities of Enterprising Barnsley and the DMCs, for example: the launch of new projects, success stories, events hosted. Press releases will have to be circulated to appropriate local, regional, and national outlets as needed. The full press releases should also be edited into a format suitable for internal stakeholders (e.g. a two paragraph summary for an internal newsletter). Lot 103823: Lot 3 Digital and Tech PR This lot covers the production and circulation of written press releases promoting the activities of Enterprising Barnsley and the DMCs, specific to the digital and tech sectors. This is a separate lot to the General PR lot as producing and circulating news for the digital and tech sectors requires a different set of skills and contacts in terms of making sure the message is tailored and circulated to outlets covering those sectors. Lot 103824: Lot 4 Podcast Production This lot covers the production of an Enterprising Barnsley audio podcast along with an accompanying video version (i.e. studio video of the podcast recording) for platforms such as YouTube. ‘Production’ includes planning content, sourcing guests, scheduling, recording, editing, publication to platforms (e.g. Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Youtube), and reporting metrics. Production will be agreed in-line with Enterprising Barnsley’s overarching marketing plan. Lot 103825: Lot 5 Social Media Marketing This lot covers the promotion of Enterprising Barnsley and the DMCs through the production and publication of paid advertisements across our existing social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIN, X) and any future ones. This includes the design and management of specific sales/engagement funnels to promote specific projects and activities, for example: ‘we need to promote the Rural Business Grant, please spend £500 on Facebook ads targeting rural business owners. Lot 103826: Lot 6 Graphic Design This lot covers graphic design for printed materials such as flyers, brochures/booklets, roller banners, business cards, and any Enterprising Barnsley/DMC promotional merchandise which requires graphic design not provided by the merchandise supplier, for example: notebooks, water bottles. Lot 103827: Lot 7 Content Creation This lot covers the creation of written content for publication through channels such as the Enterprising Barnsley website and social media channels, for example: written case studies, blog posts, and copy for promotional materials (e.g. flyers)
