Description

The Framework Agreement is divided into five separate Lots:- Lot 1 – Supply of Solar Panels and associated equipment Lot 2 – Installation of Solar PV Systems and associated equipment Lot 3 – Supply and Installation of Solar PV Systems and associated equipment Lot 4 – Supply and Installation of Specialist Systems. Lot 5 – Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and other innovative funding Lot 1: Supply of Solar Panels and associated equipment The purpose of this Lot is to provide the Contracting Authority and Participating Authority with a ‘catalogue’ of equipment that they may purchase from an approved range of Suppliers. Additional information: All Public Bodies will have access to this Framework Agreement with the agreement with the Contracting Authority. Those organisations who wish to access this Framework Agreement are detailed in the Invitation to Tender document Lot 2: Installation of Solar PV Systems and associated equipment The purpose of this Lot is to provide the Contracting Authority or Participating Authority with a list of Suppliers who can install Solar PV Systems and associated equipment. Additional information: All Public Bodies will have access to this Framework Agreement with the agreement with the Contracting Authority. Lot 3: Supply and Installation of Solar PV Systems and associated equipment The purpose of this Lot is to provide full, specialist end to end project management and delivery, including specification, health and safety provision and management, supply and installation of Solar Panels and associated equipment. Additional information: All Public Bodies will have access to this Framework Agreement with the agreement with the Contracting Authority. Lot 4: Supply and Installation of Specialist Systems This may include systems such as Solar Car Port, Solar Canopy systems, Solar Thermal or ground-mounted solar, EV Charge Points, battery systems and smart grids. The purpose of this Lot is to provide full, specialist end to end delivery, including specification, health and safety provision and management, supply and installation. Lot 5: Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and other innovative funding arrangements This lot is specifically intended to provide a straightforward procurement route to enable innovative 3rd party funding options to be provided, in order to overcome the capital funding challenge. The Lot invites bidders with capability to provide both funding and supply/installation capability such that a turnkey installation can be provided under a funded arrangement. Bids are encouraged from installers and funding providers who partner to make a consortium bid as well as organisations who are able to offer funding and installation completely in-house.
