An ED&I diagnostic review of both internal culture and policies and external operational recruitment processes for the Public Appointments Service

The Public Appointments Service is seeking to engage with an external provider to undertake an ED&I diagnostic review of both internal culture, policy and processes and external operational recruitment and assignment processes, procedures and policies in order to: • Understand the employee experience of inclusion and the organisational culture and identify the current state of D&I in the organisation. • Benchmark the current state of D&I in the organisation against other private and public sector organisations, and against the recently developed Maturity Model contained within Our Public Service 2020 • Identify opportunities that can be leveraged to increase equality of access and inclusion in all areas of work both internal and external • Identify and expand the understanding of the key D&I issues that emerge from the review • Suggest recommendations for addressing key issues identified • Provide a framework for the implementation of evidence-based D&I initiatives under the ED&I strategy • Develop a comprehensive reporting framework to enable assessment of progress over the lifetime of the ED&I strategy against the current state in order to provide maximum and sustainable impact.
