PHE is seeking to commission an external partner to undertake qualitative research with Integrated Care Systems, local authorities, the NHS and local stakeholders to explore: 1. The extent and nature of built and natural environment (Healthy Places) themes included within published ICB/ICP plans. 2. Examples from these plans of best practice, barriers or enablers to effective local planning and action that promote healthy places, as part of a population health management approach. 3. What is needed to support local systems to effectively address built and natural environment determinants of health within ICB/ICP planning and action.
