Description

NHS Supply Chain intends to launch a National Framework Agreement which encompasses the provision of Advanced Angiography Diagnostic Equipment and associated accessories, including but not limited to imaging Systems, Cath Lab Tools, and Specialized Diagnostic Software. Additionally, the scope of the agreement covers related services essential to the operation and maintenance of the equipment, such as comprehensive Managed Services to support lifecycle management, and provision of Mobile and Relocatable Catheterization Laboratories to ensure continuity and flexibility of diagnostic services. This procurement will result in the establishment of a Framework Agreement, through which suppliers can be engaged to provide high-quality angiography equipment and associated services. This will facilitate access to imaging technology and expert support, optimizing diagnostic capabilities across various healthcare settings. Precise quantities are unknown. Estimated value over the total Framework Agreement term would be £600,000,000 over a 2+1+1 year term. The Framework Agreement will be between NHS Supply Chain and the Supplier, however 1) NHS Supply Chain, 2) any NHS Trust; 3) any other NHS entity; 4) any government department, agency or other statutory body and/or 5) any private sector entity active in the UK healthcare sector will be able to enter into a direct contract with the Supplier for any of the supplies and/or services under the Framework. The Supplier will be required to report and pay a direct contract management fee to NHS Supply Chain which will be detailed in the tender documents at the tender publication stage. Lot Lot 1: Angiography Equipment and Accessories This lot covers the supply of Advanced Angiography Equipment and associated accessories, targeting a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional imaging needs. Products required include Fixed and Mobile Angiography Systems designed for high-resolution vascular imaging, suitable for both routine diagnostics and complex interventional procedures. The range includes: - Fixed C-arm Systems: Floor- and ceiling-mounted angiography systems for comprehensive vascular imaging in hospital-based catheterization labs. - Mobile C-arm Systems: High-mobility units to support flexible imaging needs, especially in multi-use settings. - Hybrid Imaging Equipment: Systems capable of integrating with CT, MRI, and other imaging modalities to enable multi-disciplinary procedures. - Essential Accessories: A full selection of accessory items, such as monitoring systems, specialized tables, and radiation shielding, are also included to ensure functionality across diagnostic and interventional applications. This lot is designed to meet the needs of healthcare providers seeking imaging technology capable of delivering high-quality vascular and cardiac diagnostics and supporting advanced procedures. Angiography systems including vascular, cardiac and neurology applications and all associated options related to imaging equipment. This Lot will also cover the provision of related services such as training, turnkey arrangements between trusts & the equipment providers and warranty of equipment. Lot Lot 2: Managed Service This lot focuses on the provision of comprehensive Managed Services (MS) for angiography and related imaging equipment. Suppliers are required to deliver end-to-end services that ensure the optimal performance, availability, and compliance of imaging equipment throughout its lifecycle. Key services include: - Equipment Planning and Procurement: Assisting healthcare providers in assessing, selecting, and procuring equipment tailored to specific diagnostic and interventional needs. - Installation and Commissioning: Coordinating the delivery, installation, and setup of equipment in compliance with regulatory and safety standards. - Ongoing Maintenance and Technical Support: Providing preventive and corrective maintenance, including 24/7 support, to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. - Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Implementing real-time performance monitoring with regular reports on equipment usage, availability, and condition. - Upgrade and Replacement Services: Ensuring equipment remains at the cutting edge by managing timely upgrades, refurbishments, and end-of-life replacements. - Training and Development Programs: Offering on-site training and educational resources to support healthcare professionals in maximizing equipment utility and performance. This lot is intended to assist healthcare providers by delivering a seamless, managed service for imaging equipment, thus reducing administrative burdens and enhancing service quality. Lot Lot 3: Mobile and Relocatable Catheterisation Laboratories This lot encompasses the provision of fully equipped Mobile and Relocatable Catheterization Laboratories designed to deliver high-quality, flexible cardiac and vascular diagnostic services in various healthcare settings. Suppliers are expected to provide catheterisation laboratories that meet the clinical, technical, and operational needs of healthcare providers. Key components and services include: - Fully Equipped Cath Labs: Mobile and relocatable units outfitted with high-definition imaging equipment, such as C-arm angiography systems, digital imaging workstations, and real-time monitoring capabilities. - Installation: Services to facilitate the setup, and commissioning of mobile cath labs in desired location. - Modular Design Options: A layout configurations that can adapt to specific requirements, including space for specialized equipment and staff movement. - Environmental Control and Safety Compliance: Ensuring units are climate-controlled, radiation-shielded, and meet all necessary health, safety, and regulatory standards. - Training and Operational Support: On-site or virtual training for healthcare staff to ensure safe and efficient use of the facilities and equipment. This lot is intended to provide healthcare providers with a flexible, high-quality solution to meet increased or variable demand for catheterization procedures, particularly in underserved or remote locations.
