The Tenderer should be aware that the works detailed in this package are constrained due to the nature of the location they are to be conducted in. Project location HM Naval Base Portsmouth The Contractor shall be expected to adhere by the HMNB site security requirements, all Contractors and Sub-Contractors shall be BPSS security vetted and will be required to hold the relevant site security passes. The Contractor shall be expected to hold the following levels of insurance £10m Public Liability, £10m Product Liability, £5m Professional Indemnity. Project Background Proposed to replace the existing caisson to 1 Basin. Proposed works to be undertaken as per the design and surveys approved with Historic England and Crown Estates. Install perimeter CPNI fencing to secure the site for the duration of the project. Installation of temporary cofferdams to the East and West that will not impact the historic fabric. Dewater and inspect and survey the 1 Basin stonework. Monitor historic seawalls and ground water levels during the works. Undertake stone wall repairs in accordance with Historic England detail specification and approval.
