The QM is an automated positioning device for a 75 kg quadrupole magnet. Lot 1: For the production of spare intersections, ten quadrupole movers (QM) have to be manufactured. A special feature of this order is the high requirements for precision machinery. The QM is an automated positioning device for a 75 kg quadrupole magnet. Outer dimensions and fitting specifications between the quadrupole and the granite (ground) are defined based on the EU.XFEL intersection design. The movements will be carried out in two axes normal to the magnetic axis of the quadrupole Information to II.1.7) Total value of the procurement (excluding VAT): The price of the Quadrupole Movers is above the EU-threshold.
