Description

The subject of the contract is the procurement of multi-domain (lot 1) and multi-purpose (lot 2) aerial border surveillance trial in a quasi-operational environment as specified in the Terms of Reference. Lot 1: Procurement of Multi-domain Aerial Border Surveillance Trial in a Quasi-operational Environment The service consists of the provision of turn-key multi-domain aerial border surveillance services in a quasi-operational environment, with remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capabilities. The services shall include the platforms, payloads, ground stations, command, control and communications architecture, the necessary personnel and expertise to deploy, operate, manage and maintain it. The systems shall be used for the execution of a pilot project that will test and evaluate the performance, cost-efficiency and reliability of these platforms for the surveillance of contiguous multi-domain Areas of Interest, namely in maritime, coastal and land environments. Procedure for lot 1 has been cancelled.
