The school is located in Leyland, Lancashire with 922, 11–16-year-old, students currently on roll and circa 60 teaching staff and 40 non-teaching staff. Key objectives in tendering the contract are: — all cleaning managed by 1 team, — consistent high standards of cleaning with minimal impact on school operational management, — regular deep clean schedules to ensure medium and long-term standards are maintained, — supportive local management of the contract, — to provide the school with a cost effective, value for money service, — continued development of the cleaning operatives ensuring that they are adequately trained to supply quality services in a safe and effective manner, — to contribute to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all students.
