The Construction of a 4G Surface to existing MUGA at Sofrydd Primary School

The works comprise the of new maintenance access ramp to the existing MUGA, reconfiguration of the existing pedestrian ramp to the MUGA and provision of a new 4G surface to the MUGA at Sofrydd Primary School, Sofrydd. At the conclusion of the procurement exercise it is the Council’s intention to award a 7-week contract commencing in February 2025.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:Companies will be expected to provide a "Community Benefits Plan" setting out how they will incorporate and deliver "Community Benefits" through this appointment within Blaenau Gwent.Examples of the range of benefits include but are not exhaustive to:–• Training & recruitment of economically inactive people• Supply chain initiatives• Environmental initiatives• Cultural initiatives• Educational initiatives• Community initiatives• Retention & training of existing workforce• Working with the 3rd Sector• A contribution to the Community Investment Fund of a minimum of 1.5% of the tendered sum if unable to deliver or in addition to the above initiatives.The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
