Northern Powergrid, part of Berkshire Hathaway Energy (BHE) is seeking to let a contract for the provision of fleet fuel card services. Northern Powergrid uses a qualification system, the Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB) which is administered by Achilles Information Ltd, for supplier selection. Companies interested in bidding for this opportunity must be registered with the UVDB under category codes relating to fuel card services in order to be considered for this opportunity. Potential suppliers should note that the registration process with the UVDB can take up to 6 weeks to complete. As such no contract notice will be issued for the requirement as a qualification system notice is issued by Achilles Information Ltd on behalf of the Company. This PIN is for information only and therefore no tender documents are available for publish at this time. The contract is expect to be for a period of 3 years and is forecast to commence 1.2.2020. The company requires the fuel card to procure fuel, lubricants wash facilities and other services which may be added from time to time. The fuel card must be accepted nationwide in the United Kingdom. From time to time the company may also offer assistance to similar utilities in the Republic of Ireland, and therefore the fuel card must also be accepted in that country. Management of the account shall be conducted via an online portal which must meet BHE information security requirements. It is estimated that the Company will require approximately 9 m — 11 m litres of fuel annually. Additional services, lubricants, wash and sundries from time to time shall also be required.
