Provision of Occupational Therapist Services to Wexford County Council 2022-2026

Description

The Occupational Therapist will principally be required to undertake the following services in relation to the Housing Adaptation Grant Scheme for People with a Disability, the Mobility Aids Grant Scheme for all applicants in the county area. - Carry out home visits and assess the applicants' needs. - Carry out assessments remotely if necessary. - Prioritise applications and provide a Priority Rating for each application in accordance with the Department of Housing, Local Goverment and Heritage (DoHLGH) Guidelines having regards to the medical needs of the applicant. - Liaise with the Occupational Therapist Services of the Health Services Executive as required. - Submit report to the Council on works required to meet the needs of the applicant. - Other advisory services as may be required.
