Siglion Developments LLP are seeking to procure the services of a Construction Manager to oversee the completion of design and then construction of the strategically important Nile & Villiers regeneration project in Sunniside, Sunderland. The project consists of 75 new low energy homes, and 575m2 of new commercial space. 65 of the homes will be forward sold to a PRS operator, 10 will be for open market sale. The Construction Manager is to be responsible for ensuring the design maximises buildability and for the co-ordination of trade package tenders and trade contractor procurement. The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing the construction site and overseeing all construction works, including executing the role of Principal Contractor for the purposes of Construction Design and Management Regulations (2015) and Building Safety Act (2022). The Construction Manager will also be responsible for all trade contract administration and the provision of a comprehensive cost management service. Keywords: construction management
