Ringsted Kommune udbyder den daglige drift og vedligeholdelse af samtlige offentlige vejbelysningsanlæg i kommunen, herunder beredskab, udbedring af fejl og mangler, forebyggende vedligeholdelse, udførelse af eftersyn samt mindre serviceopgaver (delaftale 1). Derudover er der i 2025 bevilliget 2 millioner kr. til modernisering af vejbelysningen, denne del er lige-ledes indeholdt i dette udbud (delaftale 2). Udbuddet gennemføres som et offentligt udbud, jævnfør udbudslovens § 56 (Lov nr. 1564 af 15. december 2015), hvilket betyder, at enhver, der ikke er omfattet af udelukkelsesgrundene, og opfylder eventuelle minimumskrav, kan afgive tilbud.
