Description
The purpose of the collaboration project is to give young people and young adults who have dropped out or who have not completed sixth form education the opportunity to obtain a vocational certificate in building and construction technology. Project participants will be given the opportunity to close professional gaps and be guaranteed an apprenticeship after completing and passing the school year. The majority of the training will take place at the construction site, with close follow-up and guidance along the way. The training is based on large amounts of practice by having it be linked to a construction project. The target group is young people over the age of 18 who, for various reasons, have dropped out of the training programme and who are highly motivated for construction training. The project will take place over four years. Equivalent projects are under way in several other counties. The detailed organisation of the project will take place in collaboration with the chosen tenderer. The financial framework for the project is estimated at NOK 4 million over 4 years, and the collaboration project will be ready for start-up from 2024. See the attached tender documentation for more information.
