Specialist Tier 2 Weight Management service for adults with learning disabilities - Market Engagement Event: 19th July 2024 between 10am-12:30.

Royal Greenwich in partnership with Bexley and Bromley Councils are working in collaboration to jointly procure a tier 2 weight management service for adults with learning disabilities. The Councils are keen to invite prospective Providers to an online market engagement event to better understand market capability which will assist commissioners in developing the specification. This contract will require a Provider to deliver this service who specialises in learning disability and/ or weight management provision. The tier 2 weight management contract will have a multi-component which includes behaviour change support, diet and physical activity which will need to meet the relevant NICE Guidelines. However, in addition to a typical tier 2 Weight Management Service the contract will be required to meet the needs of clients with a learning disability, and the specification will reflect this additional component. The Councils will be hosting an online market engagement event on the 19th July 2024 between 10am-12:30. We would like this event to be as inclusive as possible and reflect the current opportunities for engaging with adults with learning disabilities.
