Supporting your organisation with funding to deliver engagement and training provision for young people in Salford who currently not in education, employment or training (age 16-18, or up to 25 with an EHCP or a care leaver)

Published

Description

Salford City Council are currently looking to fund projects that can complement and enhance NEET provision across the city, by proactively connecting with vulnerable young people aged 16-18 years (to 25 with young people with SEN, and 21 if care experienced) who are disengaged from mainstream education, work and skills services. The Council has received funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to invest across the city. The primary goal of the UKSPF is building pride in place and increasing life chances across the UK, while recognising the acute challenges town centres and communities have faced during the Covid pandemic. UKSPF will enable improvements to the places people live, as well as individuals and businesses. Suitably qualified organisations are invited to submit expressions of interest to fund individual projects up to a maximum of £30k, for 1-1 or small group delivery. Expressions if interest must be received via the Chest by no later than 5pm on Friday 12th July 2024. Keywords: Education, UKSPF, NEET, Skills and Work
