A ground investigation is required to obtain environmental and geotechnical information for the stabilisation of the Gorey Pier, St Martin, Jersey. \r \r The planned ground investigation includes the following elements:\r • 10No. rotary-percussive boreholes,\r • 6No. Plate Load Tests (within Pier Trial Pits),\r • 12No. trial pits,\r • 4No. Hand Trial Pits (Parapet investigations),\r • 2No. Concrete Cores and Window Sampling/Boreholes\r • Geophysics,\r • 10No Hand Dug Pits\r • Surveying, and\r • Laboratory testing\r
