Our ambition is to provide equipment and a system to monitor, measure, alert and record the use by any member of staff of any machine which may cause HAVs (Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome) to complement our current risk assessment-based approach. We are looking for a ready-made, supported, off the shelf solution, HAVs monitoring system that that is also GDPR compliant and uses cloud-based technology for maximum accessibility. The Need RBGE is looking for an off the shelf HAVs monitoring system which meets the following requirements: The HAVs system must be analytical and have real-time data reporting. The HAVs system must be GDPR compliant, and the data recorded be the sole property of the RBGE (Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh) The HAVs system must support access by multiple users who can depending on permissions, analyse all or part of the data recorded i.e., by individual or team. The HAVs system should be scalable to support future operational needs, i.e., an increase in the number of users and the volume of data that is stored in it. The HAVs system should be capable of sending and receiving data automatically. The HAVs system should ideally allow exporting of all data (usable format) contained within in it at a future point in time. The HAVs system should initially be able support 30-40 (36 Devices in initial purchase) operators across 4 sites and 100+ Tools The HAVs monitoring equipment must include individual user cards which can be programmed to an individual and their individual exposure limits. The HAVs monitoring equipment must include individual machinery tags which are durable, discreet, robust useable on any machine that may cause HAVs. The HAVs individual machinery tags should be capable of recording Tool Exposure Points (TEP) and Sensed Exposure Points (SEP) The HAVs monitoring equipment must light, rechargeable, robust, waterproof (IP66 or greater), and wearable. Ability to turn off any GPS / Location tracking aspect of the device. The HAVs monitoring equipment recharging stations should be capable of charging between 5-10 units at a time. The HAVs monitoring equipment should display the information in clear and understandable way so that the operators can easily see their limits. The HAVs monitoring equipment must be capable of giving real time exposure level or time remaining on tool. The HAVs monitoring equipment must be able to alert user and managers of any over exposure to HAVs. Response should include training in the system and equipment supplied for all users online for the bulk of the users (40 users), on site training for the deployment of the device to Edinburgh. With train the trainer approach to allow of the deployment to other RBGE locations. 5 Docking Stations and 36 Initial Devices and 50 Straps and 100 tags.
