Description
The Authority is responsible under the Immigration Act 1971, the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, the Nationality Immigration, Asylum Act 2002 and the Immigration Act 2014, for detaining and/or enforcing the removal of certain persons (Detainees). The Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre will form one of seven Immigration Removal Centres with a total capacity of approximately 3,000 Detainees. The Yarl’s Wood IRC currently houses around 410 detainees and houses three different populations. This is a public-sector procurement for the award of a contract for the provision of services related to the operation, management and maintenance of services for Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre. This procurement will be run under the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation (CPN), as covered by the UK Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended, extended, consolidated or re-enacted from time to time). Prior to the official launch of the ITT, the Authority is inviting interested suppliers to participate in a Selection Questionnaire (SQ). In order to participate, please send an email to IEProcurement@homeoffice.gov.uk in order to register your interest. Please ensure that the subject field states "Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre Procurement - Selection Questionnaire (SQ)". You will then be added to the Jaggaer event in order to (1) sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and (2) access the SQ. Please ensure that you are registered on Jaggaer eSourcing Portal, otherwise you will not be able to access the NDA or SQ. Upon sign up to Jaggaer, please ensure that you select '79993100 - Facilities Management Services' category, which will allow you to have access to the Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre Procurement - Non-Disclosure Agreement (UPDATED), which can be found under PQQ_504. The deadline for completing the NDA is 1st August 2024. Please note that the estimated value in this notice is the potential maximum value for the potential full term, including optional extensions. Lot 1: The Authority seeks a commercial partner to provide works and services at Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre with an operating capacity of 410 and accommodating both male and female detainees. Services required include: (but are not limited to): a. Overall management of the site; b. Security and guarding; c. Welfare and general care; d. Local escorting and hospital bed watches; e. Provision of furniture and equipment; f. Facilities Management and cleaning services; g. Landscaping; h. Design and renovation works and services of the IRC facility. The potential duration of the contracts will be 6 years from service commencement, with options to extend, possibly for up to a further 4 years. Additional information: Prior to being given access to the procurement documents on the Jaggaer portal, you must sign and submit an NDA. The deadline for receipt of the NDA by the Authority is 16:00 on 1st August 2024. The deadline for submitting responses to this notice on the Jaggaer portal is 16:00 on 12th August 2024.
