UL0914 Provision of Survey Software to Integrate with Brightspace virtual learning environment to the University of Limerick

Published

Value

525,000 EUR

Description

Survey software that integrates with BrightSpace, UL's virtual learning environment (VLE) to gather student feedback. The software must facilitate easy deployment of surveys for individual course offerings ("modules") and at any level within the BrightSpace defined hierarchy. The system should enable detailed real-time reporting at module level to the individual teacher/lecturer and their line manager, subject to minimum response thresholds. It should also enable aggregate and cascading reporting (e.g. by programme, department, faculty, institutional) at centralized levels. The ability to display/hide aggregate reports to/from respondents should be available.  The student experience should be that they can access the feedback mechanism from their ‘home page’ within the VLE.  The system should align with the principles of ULs Digital Enterprise Architecture and UL's IT Governance Process. SSO must be supported.   The system must integrate with Brightspace using LTI Standard Integration. It should enable integration with other systems such as Power BI or have Open Data capabilities to facilitate BI and reporting.  The system should be flexible enough to support different survey requirements for different types of module delivery and student cohorts. It should allow configurable workflows to support changes to internal processes and staff assigned to those processes.    Ideally, the system should support textual data analysis and text redaction using automation. The system should:   • enable students to provide feedback on each module that they study each semester.   • enable evaluation of a module based on multiple delivery points • enable evaluation of multiple teaching personnel per individual delivery of the module.  • enable appropriate communication and engagement mechanisms including automated personalised email invitations and reminders, easily accessible student and staff dashboard/widget within the VLE for all survey activity • enable detailed real-time reporting to the individual teacher/lecturer and their line manager.   • Enable the teacher/lecturer to provide an update to students on how they have responded to feedback received from students  • enable aggregate and cascading reporting for each level within BrightSpace defined hierarchy at centralized levels.   • should support textual data analysis and text redaction using automation.  Please note that Appendix3 Tenders Statement pages 24 and 25 are only required to be submitted. Pages 26-40 are only relevant to tenders valued at €250 Million. Survey software that integrates with BrightSpace, UL's virtual learning environment (VLE) to gather student feedback.
