VVA Åreiddalen water treatment plant and elevated basin with connection to south Bømlo

Bømlo Vatn og Avløpsselskap AS would like to expand the current water treatment plant in Åreiddalen, as well as facilitate connection with the other two water treatment plants Hollundsvatnet and Vorland. The work generally consists of: - Demolition of parts of the existing buildings - Expansion and alteration of Åreiddalen water treatment plant, approx. 350 m2 base area/3 floors. - Establish two 1,500 m3 elevated basins with site and access road, approx. 750 m. - New water and sewage installations between the water treatment plant and elevated basin, as well as new intake pipelines and transfer pipelines to Oldereid, approx. 3.5 km ditch + diver pipelines in Finnåsvatnet and Oldereidtjørnet. - New water and sewage installations in the sea between Åreidbukta, Børøya, and Langevåg, approx. 21 km + 3 shore installations - Drilling for a shore installation at Finnåsvatnet by Åreiddalen and Store Bleikja at Langevåg - On-site constructions such as a bridge crossing over Åreidbekken, valve chambers, and water manholes The work is split into a total of 8 contracts. This enquiry is for contracts E1, E2, E3, and E8 Lot 1: E1 Ground work Ground work for the expansion of the water treatment plant in Åreiddalen, including: - Ordered responsibility as the main company - Excavation of a construction pit for the building expansion - Sheet piling in the construction pit against the river - Water management - Excavation of ditches for pipelines above and below water - Laying pipes above and below water - Delivery and assembly of pipes, manholes, fixtures, and other material - Directional drilling for pipelines in rock - Construction of roads, private, municipal, and county - Development of a site for a water treatment plant and elevated basin - Rock protection - Construction of natural stone walls - Excavation of ditches for, and laying of cables and conduits - Pressure and density testing, surveying, and documentation - Seeing to safety and pressure execution for all involved in the building process In accordance with the attached tender documentation. Lot 2: E2 Concrete and building work Concrete and building work for the expansion of the water treatment plant in Åreiddalen, including: - Building work for the complete building, approx. 350 m3 over 3 floors - Concrete work for pipe basement, filters and pool tanks with steps and covers. Ground area approx. 350 m2. - Joinery work for a wooden superstructure - Fittings in the process room, personnel room, cloakrooms, etc. - Demolition and alteration of existing buildings - Delivery and installation of 2 travelling cranes, assembly of a wall-mounted swing crane, crane beam, and minor lifting equipment - Delivery and installation of automatic gates - Ventilation and HVAC and sanitaiton - Electro and low current (excluding automation and electro for process installations) - Bridge crossing over Åreidbekken for pipelines, span approx. 14 m - Seeing to safety and pressure execution for all involved in the building process In accordance with the attached tender documentation. Lot 3: E3 Elevate basin Establishment of two 1,500 m3 elevated basins with valve chambers in Åreiddalen, including: - Concrete work and foundations for two elevated basins - Concrete work for a valve chamber and stairway - Delivery of two circular, insulated elevated basins, each 1,500 m3 with a diameter of approx. 20 m and a height of approx. 5 m. - Joinery work for a stairway and superstructure for the valve chamber - Fittings (excluding pipes and valves in the valve chamber) - Pressure and density testing, surveying, and documentation - Seeing to safety and pressure execution for all involved in the building process In accordance with the attached tender documentation. Lot 4: E8 Sea work Sea work for new main water pipelines between Åreiddalen, Børøya, and Langevåg, including: - Preparatory work for mapping the seabed and engineering design services for the execution of submarine pipelines up to Ø250 mm PE pipes with a length of approx. 21km, and lay depths of down to 300 metres below sea level. - Excavation of ditches for shore installations in Åreidbukta and Bøyøy. - Directional drilling for a bore hole by the shore installations at Store Bleikja at Langevåg - Blasting and excavations of pits - Sheathing and casting on-site water manholes - Delivery of prefabricated manholes for water and surface water - Pressure and density testing, surveying, and documentation - Seeing to safety and pressure execution for all involved in the building process In accordance with the attached tender documentation.
