Description

The migration of ICD-10 (International Classification of Diseases) to ICD-1 is an obligation that the DHSC (and NHSE) have to the UN and the World Health Organisation. From last year the WHO has stopped supporting ICD-10 shifting all maintenance work to ICD-11. NHS is using ICD-10 and this contract details the migration path to ICD-11. The migration support requires a supplier with deep technical knowledge of legacy systems, and expertise in the complexities of upgrading and modernising these systems in line with government's Central Digital and Data Office (CDDO) best practices.
