Description

The services procured are the Collection and Transfer of deceased whose deaths are referred by the Coroner for investigation. This tender is divided and lotted by Geographical location and therefore there are 7 lots associated to Coroners Daily Removals/Collection and 5 lots associated to Coroners Post Mortem Transfer. Bidders should take care when completing the ITT documents. Lot 1: Caistor, Louth, Skegness and Horncastle Coroner's Daily Removals/Collections: The collection of the deceased from their place of death, or where the body lies, to the bidders chapel of rest, at the direction of the Coroner, the Coroner's Representative, or Police Officer. This contract is particularly delicate in that any arrangements must recognise the sensitive and distressing situations involving the removal of the deceased. The deceased must be removed using suitable equipment and appropriate manual handling techniques ensuring no further damage to the body occurs or distress to relatives and bystanders. Lot 2: Lincoln Coroner's Daily Removals/Collections: The collection of the deceased from their place of death, or where the body lies, to the bidders chapel of rest, at the direction of the Coroner, the Coroner's Representative, or Police Officer. This contract is particularly delicate in that any arrangements must recognise the sensitive and distressing situations involving the removal of the deceased. The deceased must be removed using suitable equipment and appropriate manual handling techniques ensuring no further damage to the body occurs or distress to relatives and bystanders. Lot 3: Gainsborough Coroner's Daily Removals/Collections: The collection of the deceased from their place of death, or where the body lies, to the bidders chapel of rest, at the direction of the Coroner, the Coroner's Representative, or Police Officer. This contract is particularly delicate in that any arrangements must recognise the sensitive and distressing situations involving the removal of the deceased. This contract is particularly delicate in that any arrangements must recognise the sensitive and distressing situations involving the removal of the deceased. This contract is particularly delicate in that any arrangements must recognise the sensitive and distressing situations involving the removal of the deceased.
