RFI - Pontoon Decks & Adaptor Plate Feasibility, Fabrication & Transport

NTS is currently seeking to understand the capabilities of the market for the feasibility, fabrication, and delivery of two types of adaptor plates & cargo hold pontoon decks. There is a possibility that 12 adaptor plates (6 per type) and 12 pontoon decks will be required. NTS require these to be delivered to the port of Barrow-in-Furness and installed/commissioned by the supplier before final acceptance. If necessary, the construction work can be fully/partially carried out on the quay or onboard the vessel in the cargo space where they will be used for operations.<br/><br/>This Request for Information seeks to understand the capability and capacity of the market for manufacturing these adapter plates, to further inform strategy development for future procurement. Responses received to this RFI will be used to inform NTS' understanding of the market and allow them to plan the future opportunity allowing sufficient time for manufacture to meet project deadlines.<br/><br/>Suppliers who register interest in this RFI via the Atamis platform will be to access technical drawings via the supplier documents folder; please refer to these documents for more detail.
