Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation [Norsk pasientskadeerstatning (NPE)] needs expert specialist doctors to investigate and assess professional health matters in compensation cases and provide case workers and management with professional advice. Expert assignments will mainly consist of investigations and assessments of whether treatments and/or investigations have been carried out in accordance with good medical practice and any standards or guidelines. In addition, it is applicable to assess the scope of injury when this is upheld in a case. The offered specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist in the relevant specialty. There is a need for specialist doctors within the following specialties: 1) Paediatrics 2) Pulmonary medicine 3) Radiology 4) Gastroenterological surgery 5) Neurosurgery 6) Child and adolescent psychiatry 7) Orthopaedic surgery 8) Oncology 9) Vascular surgery 10) Thoracic surgery 11) Internal medicine 12) Infectious disease 13) Anaesthesiology 14) Neurology Click here: https://permalink.mercell.com/216504699.aspx Lot 1: Lot 1 - Paediatrics Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation [Norsk pasientskadeerstatning (NPE)] needs expert specialists to investigate and assess professional health matters in compensation cases and provide case workers and management with professional advice within the specialty of Paediatrics The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist within the specialty. Specialists with specific expertise and experience in paediatric endocrinology, paediatric gastroenterology, infectious diseases and general paediatrics are preferred. There is no need for specialist expertise in neonatal medicine. The estimated number of hours required is 30 hours per month, split between 1-2 contracts. Start-up will be in accordance with the detailed contract with NPE. The contract is indefinite with mutual termination rights. See also the attached draft of the contract. If there is no longer a need for the lot, for example, due to a significant decline in the number of cases, NPE reserves the right to cancel the contest for the lot. Lot 2: Lot 2 - Pulmonary medicine Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation [Norsk pasientskadeerstatning (NPE)] needs expert specialists to investigate and assess professional health matters in compensation cases and provide case workers and management with professional advice within the specialty of Pulmonary medicine. The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist within the specialty. Preference is given to specialists with broad experience in general pulmonary medicine. In consideration of impartiality, it is a requirement that at least one of the contracts is covered by a tenderer who has not had an employment relationship with Oslo University Hospital Trust during the last 5 years. The estimated number of hours required is 30 hours per month, split between 2 contracts. Start-up will be in accordance with the detailed contract with NPE. Lot 3: Lot 3 - Radiology Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation [Norsk pasientskadeerstatning (NPE)] needs expert specialists to investigate and assess professional health matters in compensation cases and provide case workers and management with professional advice within the specialty of Radiology The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist within the specialty. It is preferable that one contract is covered by a specialist with specific expertise and experience in thoracic/abdominal medicine, as well as one contract being covered by a specialist with specific expertise in musculoskeletal medicine and/or sarcoma. In consideration of impartiality, it is a requirement that at least one of the contracts is covered by a tenderer who has not had an employment relationship with Unilabs or Evidia (Aleris) during the last 5 years. There is no need for special expertise in breast diagnostics. The estimated number of hours required is 30 hours per month, split between 2 contracts. Lot 4: Lot 4 - Gastroenterological surgery Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation [Norsk pasientskadeerstatning (NPE)] needs expert specialists to investigate and assess professional health matters in compensation cases and provide case workers and management with professional advice within the specialty of Gastroenterological surgery. The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist within the specialty. It is preferable that one of the contracts be covered by a specialist with specific expertise and experience in bariatric surgery, and that one of the contracts be covered by a specialist with specific expertise in upper gastrointestinal surgery. There is no need for special expertise in lower gastrointestinal surgery. The estimated number of hours required is 45 hours per month, split between 3 contracts. Start-up will be in accordance with the detailed contract with NPE. The contract is indefinite with mutual termination rights. See also the attached draft of the contract. If there is no longer a need for the lot, for example, due to a significant decline in the number of cases, NPE reserves the right to cancel the contest for the lot. Lot 5: Lot 5 - Neurosurgery Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation [Norsk pasientskadeerstatning (NPE)] needs expert specialists to investigate and assess professional health matters in compensation cases and provide case workers and management with professional advice within the specialty of Neuosurgery. The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist within the specialty. Preference is given to specialists with broad experience in general neurosurgery. The estimated number of hours required is 30 hours per month, split between 2 contracts. Start-up will be in accordance with the detailed contract with NPE. If there is no longer a need for the lot, for example, due to a significant decline in the number of cases, NPE reserves the right to cancel the contest for the lot. Lot 6: Lot 6 - Child and adolescent psychiatry Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation [Norsk pasientskadeerstatning (NPE)] needs expert specialists to investigate and assess professional health matters in compensation cases and provide case workers and management with professional advice within the specialty of Child and adolescent psychiatry. The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist within the specialty. At least one of the contracts must be covered by a specialist with specific expertise and experience in the treatment of ADHD. The estimated number of hours required is 45 hours per month, split between 2-3 contracts. Start-up will be in accordance with the detailed contract with NPE. The contract is indefinite with mutual termination rights. See also the attached draft of the contract. If there is no longer a need for the lot, for example, due to a significant decline in the number of cases, NPE reserves the right to cancel the contest for the lot. Lot 7: Lot 7 - Orthopaedic surgery Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation [Norsk pasientskadeerstatning (NPE)] needs expert specialists to investigate and assess professional health matters in compensation cases and provide case workers and management with professional advice within the specialty of Orthopaedic surgery. The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist. At least one of these contracts must be covered by a specialist with specific expertise and experience in spinal surgery. In consideration of impartiality, it is preferable that the tenderer within spinal surgery has not had an employment relationship with AHUS Hospital Trust during the last 5 years. Furthermore, it is preferable that at least one of the contracts is covered by a specialist with specific expertise and experience in hip and knee replacement surgery. There is no need for special expertise in hand surgery. The estimated number of hours required is 80 hours per month, split between 2-5 contracts. Start-up will be in accordance with the detailed contract with NPE. The contract is indefinite with mutual termination rights. See also the attached draft of the contract. If there is no longer a need for the lot, for example, due to a significant decline in the number of cases, NPE reserves the right to cancel the contest for the lot. Lot 8: Lot 8 - Oncology Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation [Norsk pasientskadeerstatning (NPE)] needs expert specialists to investigate and assess professional health matters in compensation cases and provide case workers and management with professional advice within the specialty of Oncology. The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist within the specialty. Preference is given to specialists with broad experience in breast cancer, sarcoma and general oncology. In consideration of impartiality, it is preferable that the specialist with special expertise in breast cancer has not been associated with Oslo University Hospital Trust in the last 5 years. The estimated number of hours required is 30 hours per month, split between 2 contracts. Start-up will be in accordance with the detailed contract with NPE. If there is no longer a need for the lot, for example, due to a significant decline in the number of cases, NPE reserves the right to cancel the contest for the lot. The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist within the specialty. In consideration of impartiality, it is a requirement that at least one contract is covered by a tenderer who has not had an employment relationship with Bergen Hospital Trust in the last 5 years. The estimated number of hours required is 30 hours per month, split between 1-2 contracts. Start-up will be in accordance with the detailed contract with NPE. If there is no longer a need for the lot, for example, due to a significant decline in the number of cases, NPE reserves the right to cancel the contest for the lot. The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist within the specialty. In consideration of impartiality, it is a requirement that the specialist(s) has not had an employment relationship with Bergen Hospital Trust in the last 5 years. The estimated number of hours required is 30 hours per month, split between 1-2 contracts. Start-up will be in accordance with the detailed contract with NPE. If there is no longer a need for the lot, for example, due to a significant decline in the number of cases, NPE reserves the right to cancel the contest for the lot. Lot 11: Lot 11 - Internal medicine Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation [Norsk pasientskadeerstatning (NPE)] needs expert specialists to investigate and assess professional health matters in compensation cases and provide case workers and management with professional advice within the specialty of Internal medicine. The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist within the specialty. Preference is given to specialists with specific expertise and experience in general internal medicine. The estimated number of hours required is 15 hours per month, under 1 contract. The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist within the specialty. In consideration of impartiality, it is preferable to have specialist(s) who have not had an employment relationship with Oslo University Hospital Trust in the last 5 years. The estimated number of hours required is 30 hours per month, under 1-2 contracts. Start-up will be in accordance with the detailed contract with NPE. If there is no longer a need for the lot, for example, due to a significant decline in the number of cases, NPE reserves the right to cancel the contest for the lot. Lot 13: Lot 13 - Anaesthesiology Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation [Norsk pasientskadeerstatning (NPE)] needs expert specialists to investigate and assess professional health matters in compensation cases and provide case workers and management with professional advice within the specialty of Anaesthesiology. The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist within the specialty. Preference is given to specialists with broad experience in general anaesthesiology in adults. In consideration of impartiality, there is a requirement that at least one of the contracts be covered by someone who has not been associated with St. Olav's Hospital Trust in the last 5 years. The estimated number of hours required is 30 hours per month, under 1-2 contracts. Start-up will be in accordance with the detailed contract with NPE. If there is no longer a need for the lot, for example, due to a significant decline in the number of cases, NPE reserves the right to cancel the contest for the lot. Lot 14: Lot 14 - Neurology Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation [Norsk pasientskadeerstatning (NPE)] needs expert specialists to investigate and assess professional health matters in compensation cases and provide case workers and management with professional advice within the specialty of Neurology. The specialist must have at least 6 years' work experience as an approved specialist within the specialty. It is a requirement that at least one of the contracts is covered by a specialist with specific expertise and experience in the treatment of stroke. The estimated number of hours required is 60 hours per month, split between 3 or 4 contracts. Start-up will be in accordance with the detailed contract with NPE.
