Description

NAC require to implement a Measured Term Contract for the Replacement Central Heating and Electrical Re-Wiring Programme to various domestic properties throughout North Ayrshire. The Council is required to undertake and upgrade central heating & electrical rewiring installations to tenants of North Ayrshire to comply with Scottish Housing Quality Standards. Electrical re-wiring follows a 40-year cycle and central heating has a 15-year cycle. Lot 1: This procurement exercise seeks to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to undertake Replacement Central Heating and Electrical Re-Wiring works as part of the Council’s set programme to upgrade domestic properties. This will be measured term contract, using model form contract SBCC MTC/SCOT 2019.
